Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker Zic Saloma has revealed the real reason behind his decision to undergo nose surgery, saying it stemmed from years of battling insecurity about his looks.

In a candid video shared on his Instagram page, Zic Saloma disclosed that he had missed out on several entertainment industry opportunities because of his appearance. This, he said, motivated him to take a bold step toward transformation through cosmetic surgery.

“I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it will make you feel better, go for it,” he shared.

The comedian, who had his rhinoplasty done in Turkey, revealed that the entire procedure took over four hours and also included a facelift and eye rejuvenation. The total cost was about $11,000, but he clarified that he didn’t pay for the surgery himself as it was part of a collaboration with the hospital.

Zic Saloma, famous for his hilarious skits and his ability to play multiple characters, said the transformation has boosted his confidence and made him feel more comfortable in his own skin. He also encouraged others to make personal choices that help them feel good about themselves, as long as they do so safely and responsibly.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
