Famous Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has accused Toyin Abraham of breaking a peace agreement she once brokered between her and Funke Akindele.

The development comes two days after Funke Akindele reportedly snubbed Toyin Abraham at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere, an incident that sparked widespread reactions online and calls for Iyabo to step in.

Reacting via an Instagram post, Iyabo explained that she had previously settled the disagreement between both actresses, with the condition that neither party would resort to public shading if any issues arose. She added that they were expected to resolve any disagreements privately.

According to her, the recent tension began after Toyin Abraham raised concerns about her movie in cinemas, alleging attempts at sabotage. This, she said, led some fans to direct suspicion toward Funke Akindele, reigniting the conflict.

“I tried my very best to settle both of them, cried, knelt down, and begged both parties to embrace peace, which they eventually did,” she said, noting that this was why the actresses had been seen interacting amicably in recent months.

Expressing frustration over the renewed rivalry, Iyabo Ojo stated that she no longer wishes to be involved and asked to be left out of the situation.
