Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh has candidly shared his ongoing battles with mental health, revealing his experiences with anxiety and self-diagnosed Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).  In a recent interview, the artist disclosed that he has grappled with symptoms of ADHD since childhood, although he has not received a formal medical diagnosis.

"I don't like to identify as ADHD, but I have ADHD," Lil Kesh stated.  "I diagnosed myself, but trust me, I know."  He emphasized that while many people might casually claim to have ADHD, his experience has been a persistent struggle affecting his personal and professional life.  "Everybody has a particular level of ADHD to them. But it's bad when it is a disorder. I've had my fair share of that disorder right from when I was a kid," he explained.

The rapper also opened up about his struggles with anxiety, particularly the kind triggered by uncertainty and lack of clarity.  "I feel like not knowing, lack of clarity… that's one thing that can give me anxiety," he shared.  "Once I know what it is that I'm dealing with or what type of emotion I'm actually feeling or what my problem really is, that is half solved."

Lil Kesh's revelations shed light on the mental health challenges faced by individuals in the spotlight and underscore the importance of open discussions about such issues.  His honesty has been praised for contributing to the ongoing conversation about mental health awareness in Nigeria.
