Former Miss Nigeria and Big Brother Naija star, Beauty Tukura, has opened up about the deep emotional pain she experienced after being disqualified from the reality show.

Speaking on the Beyond With Ezinne podcast, Beauty revealed that the overwhelming backlash she faced after her exit pushed her into a very dark place, and she almost took her own life.

“The heat was too much, and personally, I felt like nothing I said was going to make sense because all they wanted to do was crucify me like Jesus. It was very hard,” she said.

She explained that after her disqualification, she couldn’t face her parents because she felt too ashamed and disappointed.

“I didn’t know how to face them. I was in a very bad place,” she admitted.

Beauty revealed that despite her struggles, her parents never stopped checking on her, sending her messages of love and support.

“I cried every day. I was thinking of ending it. I almost actually committed suicide,” she confessed.

According to her, the harsh criticism and judgment from people online made her feel alone, but the love from her fans across the world gave her strength to keep going.

“I decided to focus on the love. Since then, I’ve always focused on the positive messages,” she added.

Reflecting on her experience, Beauty said it taught her valuable lessons about resilience, forgiveness, and self-growth.

“That was the lowest point of my life, and I’ve decided it will stay that way. There’s no room for such mistakes anymore.”

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
