HOW TO GET YOUR PERMANENT VOTER’S CARD (PVC) IN NIGERIA
Getting a Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) in Nigeria is required if you want to vote during elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Here’s a simple step-by-step guide on how to register and collect your PVC.
Step 1: Register With INEC
You can register either online or physically at designated INEC centres.
Online Pre-Registration
Visit the official INEC portal:

Fill in your details and upload the required information before booking an appointment for physical capture.
Step 2: Visit An INEC Registration Centre
After online pre-registration, or if you prefer physical registration directly, go to any INEC office or approved registration centre near you.
You will be required to:
- Capture your fingerprints
- Take a photograph
- Verify your personal information
Step 3: Requirements For Registration
To register, you must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be at least 18 years old
- Present a valid means of identification where necessary
