GROUPS BACK YARI TO DELIVER TINUBU’S RE-ELECTION

Several political groups have expressed support for Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, backing him to play a leading role in mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The groups said Yari’s political experience, grassroots connections and understanding of party structures positioned him to contribute significantly to the President’s campaign.

They urged the All Progressives Congress to consider Yari for a strategic role in the 2027 campaign structure, arguing that his experience could help strengthen the party’s mobilisation efforts across different regions.

The supporters described Yari as an experienced politician with a strong network among party stakeholders and communities, particularly in the North.

They said effective grassroots mobilisation would be critical to the APC’s performance in the 2027 presidential election and called for the involvement of experienced party leaders in the campaign.

The groups also urged APC members to remain united and avoid internal disagreements that could weaken the party’s electoral preparations.

They maintained that the party needed to strengthen its structures, engage voters and communicate the achievements of the Tinubu administration more effectively ahead of the election.

The call comes amid increasing political activities as parties and political groups begin positioning themselves ahead of the 2027 elections.

Supporters of Yari expressed confidence that his involvement in the campaign would strengthen the APC’s grassroots mobilisation and contribute to efforts to secure Tinubu’s re-election.
