A government official has denied claims that Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is being exported at the expense of local supply, amid growing concerns over rising cooking gas prices in Nigeria.

The official clarified that current policies prioritize domestic availability, stressing that efforts are ongoing to stabilize supply and ensure affordability for households.
