GOV RADDA APPROVES N137BN SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET FOR KATSINA
Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has signed into law the 2025 supplementary budget totaling N137 billion, recently passed by the State House of Assembly.
The new budget includes N126.8 billion for capital projects and N10.2 billion for recurrent expenditure.
Governor Radda explained that the supplementary budget was necessary to address funding gaps in ongoing projects and to further drive infrastructural development across the state.
He stated that the funds would be prioritized for the completion of roads, healthcare facilities, schools, water supply projects, and agricultural initiatives.
Before its passage, the Katsina State House of Assembly had referred the proposal to its Committee on Appropriations, which reviewed and presented a report leading to its approval.
The signing ceremony took place at the Government House in Katsina on Tuesday, attended by senior government officials and members of the Assembly.
