In response to the ongoing economic difficulties and social challenges affecting many Nigerians, gospel singer and minister Chigozie Wisdom has unveiled the sixth edition of the 60 Days Sacrifice of Praise for Nigeria.

This year’s programme is set to take place from August 3 to October 1, with the opening ceremony scheduled for the Chapel of Christ the Light in Alausa, Lagos.

Themed “The Siege Is Over: A Nation Gathers in Praise for 60 Days of Hope and Healing,” the initiative is described as a spiritual movement aimed at inspiring hope and invoking divine intervention for national renewal.

In addition to daily praise and worship sessions, this year’s edition will feature charitable projects such as Project 1000, a feeding outreach, alongside medical missions and family empowerment programs, all geared toward providing tangible support to communities nationwide.

Speaking about the initiative, Wisdom emphasized, “This is more than a programme; it is a divine assignment and a spiritual altar. We believe that praise is a powerful force that can break barriers and transform lives.”

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
