GOMBE APC INSISTS PANTAMI REMAINS PARTY MEMBER

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State has insisted that former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, remains a member of the party, dismissing speculations about his status.

Party officials made the clarification while addressing recent reports suggesting uncertainty over Pantami’s political affiliation, stressing that there has been no official record of his exit from the party structure in the state.

According to the party, Pantami continues to be recognised as a loyal member and has not formally notified any ward or state executive of resignation or defection.

The APC leadership urged members of the public to disregard rumours capable of creating unnecessary political tension, adding that the party remains united and focused on strengthening its base in Gombe State.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to internal cohesion and political stability ahead of future electoral activities.

Political observers note that Pantami remains a prominent figure in national discourse, particularly due to his previous role in the federal cabinet and influence within the digital policy space.
