The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Dr. Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna, has officially launched the Jamilu Renewed Hope Movement, a political initiative aimed at mobilising support ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

The movement was unveiled during a gathering attended by party supporters, community leaders, youths, women groups, and other stakeholders across the state. According to the organisers, the platform is designed to strengthen grassroots participation and promote the vision of inclusive governance and development championed by Gwamna.

Speaking at the event, Gwamna urged residents to unite behind a common goal of advancing Gombe State’s development. He stressed the need for collective effort in building a more prosperous future and pledged to pursue policies that would improve opportunities for young people, women, and vulnerable communities.

The APC candidate also reaffirmed his commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, noting that the movement aligns with broader efforts to drive economic growth, job creation, and improved living standards across the state.

Gwamna emerged as the APC governorship candidate following the party's primary election and has since continued consultations with party members and stakeholders across Gombe State. Political observers see the launch of the Jamilu Renewed Hope Movement as part of early mobilisation efforts as preparations for the 2027 election gather momentum.

Supporters at the launch expressed confidence in the movement’s objectives, describing it as a platform that could help deepen political participation and strengthen engagement between leaders and the people of Gombe State.
