GOMBE APC CANDIDATE PROMISES PRIVATE SECTOR-DRIVEN GROWTH
The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Gombe State has pledged to apply lessons from the private sector to improve governance and drive economic development if elected.
The candidate said his experience in the private sector had exposed him to approaches that could be adapted to public administration, particularly in areas such as efficiency, accountability and effective resource management.
He promised to focus on policies that would encourage investment, support businesses and create more employment opportunities for residents of the state.
According to him, his administration would seek to make government more responsive to the needs of citizens while promoting an environment where businesses can thrive.
The candidate also highlighted the importance of infrastructure, youth empowerment and skills development in expanding economic opportunities across Gombe.
He said the private sector could play a major role in the state’s development and pledged to strengthen partnerships between government and businesses.
The APC candidate urged residents to support his vision for the state, saying his campaign would focus on practical solutions to challenges affecting the people.
His comments come as political activities ahead of the 2027 governorship election continue to gather momentum across Gombe State.
He said his goal would be to build on existing development efforts while introducing policies that would improve the state’s economy and attract new investments.
The candidate promised to prioritise transparency, efficiency and measurable results if given the opportunity to lead Gombe State.
