Gennaro Gattuso Set To Become Italy’s New Head Coach – Report

Former AC Milan and Napoli boss, Gennaro Gattuso, is reportedly close to being named the next head coach of the Italian national team, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

In an update on Saturday, Romano stated that the deal is nearly complete, with only a few details remaining before it is officially finalized.

“Gennaro Gattuso, on the verge of becoming new Italy head coach with agreement due to be finalised in the next days. Final details and then deal done,” Romano posted.

Known for his intense playing style and passionate coaching demeanor, Gattuso is expected to take over from current manager Luciano Spalletti. The Italian Football Federation is likely to announce his appointment once negotiations are concluded.
