Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has clapped back at a troll who mocked her choice of packaging while gifting food to her guests.

The award-winning actress had taken to her Snapchat page to share a heartwarming video showing how she treated some of her crew members who visited her home.

However, instead of appreciating her gesture, a troll zoomed in on the yellow and black nylon bags she used and attempted to shame her.

The critic wrote:
“Aunty Funke you are not posh at all. Why yellow and black nylon?”

Funke, never one to hold back, quickly fired back with a dose of sarcasm.

She replied:
“Oh, maybe I need to go and get plastic bags from Macy’s or Nordstrom. Elenu shipoti, you can come and buy nylon for me. I already blocked you. It’s a privilege for you to be seeing my snap. At least you can see I am an elderly person even if I am not old enough to be your mum. Wide mouth.”

Her bold response has since gone viral, with many fans applauding her for keeping it real and refusing to bow to unnecessary standards of “celebrity poshness.”
