Nigerian defender Franklin Tebo is on the brink of completing a high-profile transfer to Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade from Norwegian side Sarpsborg 08.

According to reports, Red Star will pay €3.6 million for the 25-year-old centre-back. Sarpsborg had initially been reluctant to part ways with their defensive rock, but the improved offer from the Serbian champions proved too good to turn down.
