FOUR NABBED OVER ALLEGED KIDNAPPING IN ANAMBRA

Security operatives in Anambra State have arrested four suspects in connection with an alleged kidnapping incident in the state.

The arrests were made following a swift operation after a distress call. The suspects, whose identities are being withheld pending investigation, are said to have been involved in the abduction of a victim who was later rescued unharmed. Items suspected to be proceeds of criminal activities were also recovered.

The Anambra State Police Command confirmed the arrests and assured the public of diligent prosecution. “We are committed to making the state uncomfortable for criminals. Kidnapping will not be tolerated,” a police spokesperson stated.

Residents have welcomed the development, calling for sustained security efforts to tackle kidnapping and other violent crimes in the region.

The suspects are currently in custody and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
