Former Big Brother Naija housemate Somadina Anyama, popularly known as Soma, has left fans and social media users amazed after a video of him preaching at church surfaced online.

In clips circulating on Twitter, Soma is seen on the podium delivering a passionate sermon at The Logic Church, captivating the congregation with his message.

The video has drawn widespread admiration, as Soma joins the growing list of BBNaija stars embracing a spiritual path. Others who have publicly shared their faith journey include Khafi, Gedoni, Leo Da Silva, Cross, Lilo, and Teva.

Social media users expressed their reactions to the video:

One user wrote, “Love to see it!”

Another said, “God is changing everyone this year.”

“Some turn better while others turn worse. Such is life,” commented another fan.

“Wow, this has to be LDC. This is amazing. Love it for him. Congratulations Soma,” added another.

Other fans expressed admiration and support, praising his commitment to his faith.

Soma’s spiritual journey reflects a broader trend among Nigerian celebrities who have publicly embraced Christianity. In 2024, Cross Okonkwo declared Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour, sharing that he had been “arrested by God” and called to build His Kingdom. Similarly, in October 2023, Leo DaSilva revealed his calling to become a pastor after completing two years of theological studies.

Singer Cynthia Morgan also shared her prophetic calling, explaining that although she initially hoped for a Grammy before fully embracing her gift, she eventually accepted her path in faith. Upcoming artist Qing Madi has also spoken openly about the challenges of discussing her faith on social media, revealing she lost thousands of followers after sharing her love for Christ but remains steadfast.

In addition, actress Toyin Abraham recently impressed fans at a church service led by Pastor Bolaji, participating in musical worship and describing the event as a time of reflection on God’s goodness. Influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa praised Pastor Bolaji’s teachings for their relatability and the sense of warmth and community they foster.

BBNaija star Erica Nlewedim also shared insights about Christianity, noting the importance of taking prayer and fasting seriously and encouraging Christians to hold fast to their faith. Actress Anita Joseph has previously revealed that her family has a prophetic lineage, emphasizing that her religious lifestyle and prayer videos have deep roots and did not start recently.

Soma’s emergence as a preacher is yet another example of how Nigerian celebrities are increasingly embracing spirituality, inspiring fans and followers with their journeys of faith.
