“FOOD IS A SCAM” – JIM IYKE SAYS HUMANS SHOULD EAT ONLY ONCE A DAY

Popular Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has stirred conversations online with his unusual take on food and nutrition. According to him, the human body is naturally built to eat only once a day, and anything more is excessive.

Speaking during a recent interview with 3FM 102.7 in Ghana, the actor described food as a “scam” and a “disruptor,” claiming it slows him down and reduces his energy levels.

“I eat once a day,” Jim said. “Food weighs me down. I function better on an empty stomach. Once I eat, I feel like the day is ending, and my body starts preparing for rest. That’s why I avoid it for as long as I can.”

He added that society has exaggerated the importance of eating multiple times daily. “Your subconscious begins to tell you, ‘You’ve done enough today, you’ve eaten, now relax,’” he explained. “That’s how food manipulates people.”

Jim Iyke believes that discipline in eating and watching what you consume is more important than eating often. “What you eat defines everything,” he said. “The law of commutative effect will always catch up with you if you’re eating the wrong things.”

However, nutrition experts disagree with Jim’s claims. They say there is no scientific proof that the human body is built to eat only once daily. Most nutritionists recommend 3 balanced meals a day, with healthy snacks in between, depending on your lifestyle and health needs.

While Jim Iyke’s eating habits may work for him, health professionals warn that extreme diets or eating patterns should not be followed without proper guidance, especially for people with medical conditions or demanding schedules.

His comments have sparked mixed reactions, with some praising his discipline and others questioning the science behind his claims.
