FOLARIN MEETS TINUBU AS APC MOBILISES FOR ALLI’S GOV BID

Senator Teslim Folarin, prominent APC chieftain in Oyo State, on Wednesday paid a strategic visit to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa as the party ramps up mobilisation efforts for Hon. Bayo Alli’s 2027 governorship bid in Oyo State.

The closed-door meeting is believed to have focused on strengthening the APC in Oyo, addressing internal party issues, and securing presidential backing for the party’s preferred candidate.

Folarin, a former Senate Leader, described the engagement as productive and reassuring, noting that the APC remains committed to reclaiming Oyo State.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress in Oyo has intensified grassroots mobilisation and stakeholder engagements in support of Alli, who is seen as a formidable contender with strong connections across the state.

Party leaders expressed confidence that with national support and a united front, the APC will unseat the ruling PDP in the 2027 gubernatorial election.
