FLASHNARRATIVE LAUNCHES AI TOOL FOR BRAND MONITORING
Nigerian technology startup FlashNarrative has launched an artificial intelligence powered platform designed to help organisations monitor their brands, understand media coverage and respond faster to emerging issues.
The platform combines AI, media monitoring and analytics to track conversations about brands across news, digital and social media platforms. According to the company, it monitors more than 1,000 data sources and analyses public sentiment, emerging narratives, reputational risks and competitive activity.
A key feature is its ability to understand Nigerian languages and digital expressions, including Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa influenced conversations. The platform also considers slang, code switching and cultural context when analysing online discussions.
FlashNarrative said the system provides metrics such as Share of Voice, Media Impact Score and Message Penetration Index, giving communication and marketing teams data they can use to assess visibility and messaging performance.
The company said the platform could help businesses identify potential reputation problems before they become bigger issues, particularly in sectors such as financial services, fintech, telecommunications and consumer businesses.
FlashNarrative was founded by Elvis Ebenuwah, Toluwaninse Odewabi, Al-Hameen Mohammed and Michael Atuorah. The startup said its technology was developed in Nigeria but designed with the global market in mind.
