FIRM UNVEILS TECH SOLUTIONS TO TACKLE HEALTHCARE BUREAUCRACY

Honeytreat Global Services Limited has launched two technology platforms, QwikCare and Sur-Drive, aimed at improving healthcare access and making transportation safer in Nigeria.

The platforms were unveiled in Lagos at an event themed “Beyond the Challenges, Technology Leads the Way.”

The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Samson Soyebi, said QwikCare was developed to address challenges associated with Nigeria’s healthcare system, including long queues, repeated medical tests, delays, and fragmented patient information.

He said the platform would help reduce unnecessary hospital visits, preserve patients’ medical records, and improve accountability across healthcare services.

QwikCare brings healthcare providers, health maintenance organisations, doctors, and patients into one digital ecosystem. Users can consult doctors, upload prescriptions, make payments, and arrange doorstep delivery of medications.

The Project Director, Oluwaseun Oladotun, said the platform was designed with data protection measures to ensure that users only have access to information relevant to them.

A public health physician with the Lagos State Health Service Commission, Dr Bolade Adeniyi, said the platform could help patients access healthcare services within minutes and locate nearby hospitals and specialists during emergencies.

Meanwhile, Sur-Drive is designed to improve transportation safety. The platform includes a distress alert feature that can notify security agencies and emergency contacts when users require assistance.

It also allows fleet owners to monitor vehicles in real time and enables drivers to receive alerts about road hazards, including potholes reported by other users.

The company said the two platforms were developed to use technology to address everyday challenges and improve access to essential services.

Honeytreat Global Services said it would continue developing solutions aimed at making healthcare and mobility services more accessible, connected, and efficient in Nigeria.
