Morocco’s Othmane Maamma and the USA’s Benjamin Cremaschi have emerged as standout stars of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, winning the Golden Ball and Golden Boot awards respectively.

The tournament concluded in the early hours of Monday, with Morocco defeating Argentina 2-0 in the final at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos to claim their first-ever U-20 World Cup title.

Two first-half goals from winger Yassir Zabiri sealed the victory for the young Atlas Lions, capping off an impressive tournament campaign.
