A member of the House of Representatives representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency of Zamfara State, Hon. Abdulmalik Zannah Zubairu Bungudu, has facilitated the employment of 18 graduates from the constituency into various federal government ministries, departments, agencies, and establishments.

This was disclosed in a statement issued to journalists in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, by the lawmaker’s Chief Spokesman, Aminu Lawal.

According to the statement, the latest appointments are in addition to Hon. Bungudu’s efforts in facilitating the recruitment and placement of hundreds of constituents into the military, paramilitary agencies, and private business establishments.

It stated that the initiative was aimed at reducing youth unemployment and ensuring that qualified indigenes of the constituency are adequately represented in federal government institutions.

“The decision by Hon. Bungudu to facilitate these employment opportunities was driven by his commitment to addressing youth unemployment and ensuring that constituents are well represented in federal government establishments,” the statement said.

It added that the beneficiaries are graduates of the Federal University Gusau, Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda, Federal Medical Centre, Gusau, and other institutions.

According to the statement, appointment letters have been issued to all the beneficiaries, who have since resumed duties in their respective organisations.

The statement further described Hon. Zannah Bungudu, recipient of the 2025 Youth Empowerment Award, as one of the leading young political figures in Nigeria’s North-West geopolitical zone and an influential entrepreneur in the oil and gas sector.

He currently represents Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly.
