FCMB ADDS DIGITAL FEATURES TO IMPROVE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
First City Monument Bank has introduced new digital banking features and customer engagement initiatives as part of activities marking Customer Service Week 2026.
The bank said the improvements were designed to make its services more accessible, responsive and convenient for customers.
Among the new features are expanded authentication options through its Temi chatbot and the integration of transaction e-tokens into customer receipts. The changes allow customers to access transaction verification details without relying solely on SMS notifications.
FCMB said its mobile app ranked first in the mobile banking and USSD experience categories in the KPMG 2025 Nigeria Banking Industry Customer Experience Survey. The bank also ranked first in contact-centre experience.
Managing Director of FCMB, Yemisi Edun, said customer service remained a continuous priority as the bank develops its products and digital platforms.
The bank is also marking Customer Service Week, which runs from October 5 to 9, with activities across its branches and digital channels.
Customers purchasing airtime through the bank’s *329# USSD platform will receive a 10 per cent bonus during a three-day promotion, while new customers who purchase at least N200 in airtime through the mobile app will receive a 20 per cent bonus.
FCMB will also hold employee activities focused on digital innovation and service excellence during the week.
