Human rights lawyer Femi Falana has called for urgent action to rescue abducted pupils and teachers from Oyo State, describing the situation as deeply distressing.

Speaking in a video message, Falana said the safety of the victims must be prioritized, urging security agencies to intensify efforts to secure their release.

He criticized delays in rescue operations and stressed that the protection of children and educators should remain a national priority.

Falana also called on authorities to strengthen school security across vulnerable regions to prevent further incidents.
