FAITH AND LIFE LESSONS HELPED ME OVERCOME MY ANGER ISSUES - OMOTOLA REVEALS

Veteran Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has revealed that she was once a very aggressive person while growing up.

The Nollywood star made the disclosure in a video from an interview that recently circulated widely on social media.

Reflecting on her childhood, Omotola explained that the challenges her family faced after the loss of her father contributed to her anger during her younger years.

The actress admitted that she struggled with impatience at the time but said she has since overcome those feelings through maturity, faith, and life experiences.

“I used to be very aggressive. When I was younger, I had a lot of rage. I think from the time I lost my dad, I couldn’t blame God because I had already given my life to Christ, but inside I was still looking for someone to blame,” she said.

She added that the hardships her family endured during that period left her feeling angry and frustrated with life.

“I was just angry at life. I kept asking, ‘Why me? Why did I deserve this?’ Things became really difficult for us, and I felt it wasn’t fair, so I had very little patience,” she explained.

However, the actress said she has grown significantly over the years and no longer struggles with those emotions as she once did.

According to her, maturity, faith in God, and life experiences have helped her manage and overcome that side of her personality.

“That part of me rarely shows up anymore. Maybe once in a long while, and I don’t even like the feeling when it does,” she added.
