EPL: Carragher Names Arsenal the Best Team in England After Man City’s 3-0 Win Over Liverpool

Former Liverpool defender and football pundit, Jamie Carragher, has described Arsenal as the “best team in England” this season, despite Manchester City’s dominant 3-0 victory over Liverpool on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s side put on a brilliant performance at the Etihad Stadium, climbing to second place on the Premier League table — four points behind league leaders Arsenal.

However, Carragher believes Mikel Arteta’s men have been the most consistent and impressive side so far this season. Speaking on Sky Sports, the Liverpool legend said he has “no doubt” that Arsenal remain the strongest team in the country.

“Twice in the last three years, City have come from behind and caught Arsenal,” Carragher said.
“Liverpool are the champions, but City took them to the cleaners. Arsenal might be getting a few flashbacks to the last couple of times they had a chance at a title.
But I still think Arsenal are the best team I’ve seen in the Premier League this season — no doubt.”

Carragher also acknowledged Manchester City’s incredible title resilience, warning that their latest victory would put pressure back on Arsenal in the ongoing title race.

The Gunners currently hold a four-point lead over City going into the international break and will be eager to maintain their momentum when the Premier League resumes.

With both teams in strong form, fans can expect another thrilling battle for the title between Arteta’s Arsenal and Guardiola’s Manchester City this season.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
