The Commissioner of Police in Osun has extended greetings to Muslim faithful as they celebrate Eid, while assuring residents of adequate security across the state during the festivities.

In his message, the police chief urged worshippers to celebrate peacefully and remain vigilant as they observe the religious holiday.

He noted that security operatives have been deployed across major roads, prayer grounds, and public spaces to ensure a smooth and incident-free celebration.

According to him, the command has strengthened patrols and intelligence monitoring to prevent any security breaches during the Eid period.

The commissioner also appealed to residents to cooperate with security agencies by reporting suspicious activities and adhering to safety guidelines.

He further advised motorists to observe traffic rules and avoid reckless driving to prevent accidents during the holiday movement.
