EGBIN POWER OPENS 11TH SCHOLARSHIP CYCLE, TARGETS OVER 250 STUDENTS IN HOST COMMUNITIES

Egbin Power has commenced the 11th edition of its annual scholarship programme, with more than 250 students from communities hosting its operations participating in the 2026 pre-test exercise.

The power generation company said the initiative is designed to provide free quality education and broader development opportunities for outstanding pupils and students selected from primary and secondary schools within its host communities. The latest edition further extends a programme that Egbin Power has positioned as part of its long-term investment in education and youth development.

According to the company, the scholarship programme was established under its Personal Corporate Social Responsibility initiative as part of efforts to improve educational opportunities for young people living around its operational communities.
