EDEN HAZARD: ONLY MESSI DRIBBLES BETTER THAN ME

Former Chelsea and Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has sparked conversation after declaring that only Lionel Messi is a better dribbler than him.

In a recent video shared on the UEFA Champions League’s official X account, Hazard was asked to remain silent until he heard the name of a player he believed dribbled better than him.

The host mentioned several top talents, including PSG’s Désiré Doué, AC Milan’s Rafael Leão, PSG’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Barcelona’s Raphinha — but Hazard didn’t react. Even when names like Riyad Mahrez, Vinícius Jr, Cristiano Ronaldo, and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal were called, the Belgian stayed silent.

Hazard hesitated briefly when Neymar’s name came up, but ultimately, the only time he broke his silence was when Lionel Messi was mentioned. With a knowing smile, Hazard acknowledged Messi as the only dribbler superior to him.

Hazard, who retired from professional football in October 2023 at the age of 32, was widely regarded as one of the most skillful attackers of his generation. His latest comments have only reignited debates among fans about where he ranks among the best dribblers in football history.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
