Ecobank Nigeria, a subsidiary of the pan-African banking group, has launched its Super Rewards campaign, offering customers a chance to win over N60 million in cash and other benefits.

The campaign, which commemorates the 40th anniversary of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, will run from September 2025 to January 2026. Within this period, 914 customers are expected to share cash rewards totalling N61.2 million.

Speaking at the launch in Lagos, the Head of Products & Analytics, Consumer & Commercial Banking at Ecobank Nigeria, Victor Yalokwu, noted that the initiative is both a celebration of the Group’s four decades of operations across Africa and an appreciation of customer loyalty.

“This year’s campaign is a special celebration of Ecobank Group’s 40 years of service across Africa. It is our way of thanking our customers for their loyalty while we continue to deliver first-class banking services. The campaign is open to new and existing customers, including individuals, businesses (SMEs and schools), and students nationwide. Customers who reactivate dormant accounts and meet the required deposits and transactions are also eligible. Monthly draws will be conducted, culminating in a grand finale draw in January 2026,” Yalokwu explained.

Prizes will include monthly cash rewards, stipends, scholarships, business funding, and other lifestyle benefits. For individual accounts, 420 customers will share N16.8 million through monthly draws, while eight winners will share N8 million at the grand finale. Business account holders will also share N16.8 million during the campaign, with four winners sharing N16 million in business support funds at the finale. For students, 50 customers will receive N40,000 each during the monthly draws (totalling N2 million), while four students will each receive an education grant of N400,000 at the grand finale (totalling N1.6 million).

Yalokwu stressed that the process to qualify is straightforward to encourage wide participation. New individual customers can open an account with a minimum deposit of N10,000 and keep it active for 30 days to qualify for the monthly draws. To qualify for the grand prize, a minimum balance of N40,000 must be maintained for three consecutive months.

Business accounts require a minimum opening balance of N40,000, with grand prize eligibility demanding a deposit growth of at least N400,000. All participants are expected to transact through Ecobank’s digital channels.
