EBERECHI EZE SET TO JOIN ARSENAL IN £67.5M DEAL — THIRD BIGGEST SIGNING IN CLUB HISTORY

Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace in a deal worth £67.5 million, making him the third most expensive player in the club’s history.

The 27-year-old midfielder is expected to undergo his medical today before completing the switch this weekend. The transfer fee includes a guaranteed £60m plus £7.5m in performance-related add-ons.

The Gunners swooped in late to hijack Tottenham Hotspur’s move for the England international after matching their bid earlier this week.

Eze’s arrival puts him behind only Declan Rice (£105m) and Nicolas Pépé (£72m) on Arsenal’s all-time transfer list. He edges past Kai Havertz (£65m) and Viktor Gyökeres (£63.5m), who round out the club’s top five most expensive signings.

The former Crystal Palace star has built a reputation as one of the Premier League’s most exciting playmakers, known for his creativity, flair, and ability to break open defenses. Arsenal fans will be hoping he adds even more firepower to Mikel Arteta’s midfield as the club pushes for silverware this season.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
