Global business data and analytics company, Dun & Bradstreet South Asia, Middle East and Africa, has introduced a new Business Credibility Report aimed at helping companies demonstrate their reliability while giving lenders, investors and commercial partners access to verified information before entering into business relationships. The company said the initiative comes at a time when organisations are placing greater emphasis on due diligence and risk assessment before extending credit or forming new partnerships.

According to Dun & Bradstreet, the report provides an independent assessment of a company’s business profile by drawing on its data and verification capabilities. The solution is designed to allow businesses to present credible, independently verified information about their operations and credentials to financial institutions, suppliers, investors and potential partners, helping those stakeholders make more informed decisions when evaluating prospective business relationships.

A senior executive at Dun & Bradstreet South Asia, Middle East and Africa, Sameer Anees, said the product was developed in response to the growing importance of business credibility and risk management. He explained that companies increasingly need practical ways to demonstrate their credentials in a business environment where reputation, transparency and verified information are becoming important factors in commercial decision-making.

The company said the Business Credibility Report is available in five formats, with the information provided depending on the option selected. Some versions can include details covering a company's corporate profile as well as macroeconomic, industry and operational information, allowing users to assess businesses beyond basic registration or identification details. Dun & Bradstreet said the approach could make corporate reputation easier to evaluate by supporting it with independently verified business information.

Dun & Bradstreet added that access to reliable business information is increasingly important as companies seek to minimise exposure to financial and commercial risks. For businesses looking for funding, suppliers or new partnerships, the report can serve as a verified representation of their credentials. The company said the new product forms part of its wider effort to promote trusted commercial relationships through verified data and business intelligence across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
