Founder of The Master’s Place International Church, Pastor Korede Komaiya, has opened up about a powerful testimony of survival, faith, and gratitude ahead of his 55th birthday celebration on September 4.

In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Wednesday, the Warri-based preacher revealed that doctors once told him he would not live beyond 35 years old due to health challenges

“My gratitude knows no bounds. I saw bends that looked like ends until God turned things around. I was told medically that I wouldn’t live to be 35 years old, and now I’m just a few days away from 55,” he wrote.

Pastor Komaiya described his life as a “product of mercy”, noting that despite many battles, betrayals, and attempts to derail his destiny, God has always come through for him.

He also reflected on the impact of his ministry, emphasizing how God has used him to reach the vulnerable and less privileged in society.

“Today, God has made me a father to orphans, a succour to widows, an eye to the blind, hope to the hopeless, and light to those in darkness. Only God deserves all the glory. Gratitude mode activated,” he added.

Pastor Korede Komaiya founded The Master’s Place International Church in 2007 and currently leads the thriving ministry alongside his wife, Esther Komaiya.

As he turns 55, his story has become a testimony of resilience, faith, and the power of grace—one that continues to inspire both his congregation and followers across the world.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
