DOCTORS SAID I WOULDN’T LIVE BEYOND 35 — PASTOR KOREDE KOMAIYA AHEAD OF 55TH BIRTHDAY
Pastor Korede Komaiya, Founder of The Master’s Place International Church, has opened up about his journey of survival and faith, revealing that doctors once predicted he would not live past 35 years.
The clergyman, who will clock 55 on September 4, shared this testimony in a post on Instagram on Wednesday while reflecting on his life’s journey and posting new photographs.
“My gratitude has no limits. I faced situations that seemed like the end until God turned them around. I have survived death repeatedly. Medically, I was told I wouldn’t live beyond 35, but here I am, just a few days away from 55,” he wrote.
Komaiya described his life as a testimony of divine mercy, stressing that nothing has been able to hinder his destiny.
“I am a product of mercy. God always shows up for me, no matter the battles or even my mistakes. Neither hatred, betrayal, evil attacks, nor opposition has been able to stop my destiny,” he said.
The Warri-based preacher also reflected on his ministry’s impact, noting how God has used him to support the vulnerable and underprivileged.
“Today, God has made me a father to orphans, a source of comfort to widows, eyes to the blind, hope for the hopeless, and light to those in darkness. To Him alone be all the glory. Join me in thanking God—gratitude mode activated,” he added.
Pastor Komaiya founded The Master’s Place International Church in 2007 and currently leads the ministry with his wife, Esther.
