DLM CAPITAL PAYS N1.14BN SECOND COUPON TO INVESTORS
** **
DLM Capital Group has paid N1.14bn to investors as its second principal and interest coupon under its N9bn Sovereign Bond-Backed Composite Notes programme.
The payment was made under the group’s N30bn Medium-Term Notes Programme listed on the FMDQ Exchange. It comprised N948.49m for Tranche A investors and N197.08m for Tranche B investors.
The latest payment came six months after the successful settlement of the first principal and interest obligation on DLM Funding SPV Plc’s N7.30bn Series 1 Tranche A and N1.70bn Series 3 Tranche B Plain Vanilla Returns Sovereign Bond-Backed Composite Notes.
The instrument entered the Nigerian capital market in July 2025 and received AAA ratings from Global Credit Rating and DataPro Limited.
DLM Capital said it has also maintained quarterly performance reporting to provide investors and other market participants with regular information on the instrument’s performance.
The Group Chief Executive Officer, Sonnie Ayere, said the latest payment represented another milestone for the SBCN programme and reflected the company’s commitment to meeting its obligations to investors.
The company said the consistent payment of its obligations was particularly relevant amid changing conditions in Nigeria’s fixed-income market, where investors continue to consider instruments that can provide protection against inflation and market volatility.
The SBCN forms part of DLM Capital’s broader efforts to develop structured financing products and deepen activity in Nigeria’s capital market.
