DJ CUPPY DELIVERS EMOTIONAL SPEECH AT HER LONDON ALMA MATER, QUOTES DAVIDO
Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed immense pride in herself after delivering a speech at her alma mater.
Sharing a video of the moment, Cuppy highlighted her journey from graduating from King’s College London in 2014 to addressing the 2026 graduates during the school’s commemoration ceremony.
“Full circle moment! In 2014, I graduated from King’s College London. And now, in 2026, I delivered the graduation commemoration speech. I’m still pinching myself,” she said, quoting Davido’s popular phrase, “We rise by lifting others.”
Earlier, in March 2023, Cuppy earned a Master of Science, marking her third degree, from Oxford University. She celebrated the achievement on social media, sharing photos from her graduation ceremony and vowing to make her accomplishments known.

Cuppy has consistently shown her commitment to education and empowerment. In 2023, she announced the launch of the Cuppy Fund at New York University, aimed at supporting African students studying abroad. That same year, she built a virtual lab for students at Jakande Estate College, expressing her joy in contributing to transformative educational projects.
In addition, she launched a scholarship fund to support African graduate students at Oxford University, reinforcing her dedication to uplifting the next generation of leaders. Her philanthropic efforts have also included sponsoring individual students, earning her admiration for her passion for education and humanitarian work.
