DINO MELAYE EXPLAINS SILENCE: “I WAS BUSY WITH SCHOOL, NOW I’M A LAWYER”
Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, has finally explained why he has been unusually quiet in Nigeria’s political space.
Speaking on Arise TV’s Prime Time on Monday, Melaye revealed that his silence was intentional, as he needed to concentrate fully on his studies.
“I have been quiet because I was in school. I did not want Nigeria to happen to me. I needed them to let me graduate,” he said.
The outspoken politician added that the decision had paid off, as he had now successfully graduated and had been officially called to the Nigerian Bar.
“I have graduated now, and I have been called to the largest bar in Africa,” Melaye proudly stated.
Known for his fiery political commentary and dramatic style, Melaye’s absence from the public scene had sparked curiosity among Nigerians. With his return as a certified lawyer, many are now watching to see how he blends his legal career with politics in the coming months.
