DIG FAYOADE ADDRESSES ALLEGED RANSOM DEMAND FOR ABDUCTED OYO SCHOOLCHILDREN, TEACHERS

The Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Fayoade Adegoke, has responded to reports alleging that kidnappers demanded a ransom for the release of abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.

Speaking on the development, the senior police officer said security agencies are actively working to secure the safe rescue of the victims and are carefully assessing all information surrounding the case.
