It’s a busy transfer deadline day in the Premier League as Jadon Sancho looks set to swap Old Trafford for Aston Villa, while Nigeria international Christantus Uche is closing in on a move to Crystal Palace.

Talks are ongoing between Manchester United and Aston Villa over Sancho’s transfer, with both sides pushing to get the deal sealed before the window shuts. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, these negotiations are separate from Villa goalkeeper Emi Martínez’s potential switch to Manchester United.

Sancho reportedly made up his mind on Sunday to join Villa after waiting for an opportunity at a club competing in Europe.

Meanwhile, Christantus Uche has flown into London to finalise his move from Getafe to Crystal Palace. Romano confirmed that a verbal agreement has already been reached, with the Spanish club expecting the final paperwork to be wrapped up on Monday.

If completed, both deals will mark two of the biggest late moves of the transfer window, reshaping squads as the Premier League season gains momentum.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
