D’BANJ DONATES THREE BUSES TO OSUN POLITICIAN
Nigerian singer Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj, has donated three new Sienna buses to lawyer and politician Pelumi Olajengbesi to support his campaign for the Oriade-Obokun Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 House of Representatives election.
Olajengbesi disclosed the donation in a social media post, saying the vehicles were presented to him by the singer in Osogbo, Osun State. According to him, D’Banj had earlier contacted him for details of his campaign branding, which he initially believed was connected to the singer’s CREAM initiative.
He said he was later surprised when three fully branded buses were delivered as a personal gesture of support.
The development adds to recent public endorsements of Olajengbesi’s political ambition. Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, had earlier expressed support for his bid to represent the constituency.
Olajengbesi served as spokesperson for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election campaign in the August 2026 Osun governorship election and is the convener of the Imole Grassroots Mobilisation Network.
He previously contested the Oriade/Obokun federal constituency seat in 2019 and secured the Accord Party ticket for the 2027 election.
