Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has added another milestone to his name as his hit album “Timeless” has officially been certified Silver in the United Kingdom.

The certification, awarded by Chart Data, comes after the album sold over 100,000 units in the UK, further cementing its global success.

Since its release in March 2023, Timeless has smashed streaming records on major platforms including Spotify Nigeria, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube.

The album didn’t just make waves with fans—it also caught the attention of the industry. Davido earned a Headies nomination for ‘Song of the Year’, and two Grammy nominations for Best Global Album and Best Global Music Performance.

Following the album’s success, Davido launched a global “Timeless Tour”, performing in cities across the world and thrilling fans with hit tracks from the project.

This Silver certification adds yet another feather to Davido’s cap as one of Afrobeats’ biggest global ambassadors.
