Afrobeats superstar Davido and his wife Chioma Rowland Adeleke have once again made global headlines after their lavish Miami wedding was featured in Vogue magazine.

The couple, who first crossed paths back in 2013 at Babcock University, had already sealed their union in Lagos earlier this year. But their August “white wedding” in Miami brought a fresh wave of excitement — a grand celebration that flawlessly combined Nigerian culture with international flair.

With over 1,500 guests in attendance, the wedding was styled under the creative direction of Davido’s sister, Sharon Ademefun. Chioma dazzled in a breathtaking custom gown by British-Nigerian bridal designer Alonuko, while Davido turned heads in a sharp Tom Ford suit, accented with diamonds from his personal collection. Both also wore tributes in honor of their late son, Ifeanyi, making the day deeply personal and emotional.

The reception was nothing short of spectacular. Chioma switched into multiple show-stopping outfits, while Afrobeats heavyweights D’Banj and Adekunle Gold lit up the stage with electrifying performances. Guests were also treated to a Latin-inspired Hora Loca party, turning the night into an unforgettable fusion of cultures.

Speaking with Vogue, Davido proudly said: “We shut Miami down. We brought Lagos to Miami, and it was exactly what I had in mind.” Chioma kept it simple but heartfelt, summing up the magical night in one word: “Vibes.”

This feature in Vogue cements the wedding as not just a family affair but a truly global cultural moment for Nigerian music and fashion.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
