CRISTIANO RONALDO WANTS MASON GREENWOOD TO JOIN HIM AT AL NASSR
Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly eager to line up alongside Mason Greenwood at Al Nassr as the Saudi Arabian club continues talks to secure a move for the English forward.
According to TouchlineX via @jfelixdiaz, negotiations between Al Nassr and Greenwood have been ongoing in recent days. Although the deal is said to be complicated, Ronaldo’s desire to play with the 23-year-old attacker could help push things forward.
Greenwood currently plays for Marseille in France’s Ligue 1, having made a £26.6 million move from Manchester United in July 2024. His performances have drawn attention, and now a potential move to the Saudi Pro League is on the table.
This comes shortly after Jhon Durán, the former Aston Villa striker, left Al Nassr to join Fenerbahçe on loan, opening up a spot in the squad. Ronaldo, who continues to be a central figure both on and off the pitch at Al Nassr, is reportedly a strong supporter of bringing Greenwood into the team.
While the deal isn't done yet, the interest from one of football’s biggest names could influence Greenwood’s next career move — and further boost the growing profile of Saudi football.
