INTERVIEW
CRISTIANO RONALDO: “I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW MANY CARS I HAVE — IT COULD BE 40, 41”
Portuguese football superstar and billionaire athlete Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted that he’s lost count of how many luxury cars he owns — estimating the number could be around 40 or 41.
The Al-Nassr captain made the revelation during a candid sit-down interview with Piers Morgan, where he opened up about his evolving relationship with wealth, luxury, and family.
“Honestly, if you have to bet, I say I don’t know. 41, 40. I don’t know. I swear, I swear for my kids,” Ronaldo confessed when asked how many cars he owns.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, known for his lavish collection of Bugattis, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Rolls-Royces, also revealed that material possessions no longer excite him the way they once did.
“I don’t go shopping. If I go anywhere, I can buy whatever I want, but I don’t need that anymore,” he explained. “Okay, let’s say three days ago I bought a car, but it’s for collection. It’s like you buy a frame. I’m not going to drive that car — it’s like an investment.”
Ronaldo, who recently became the first active footballer to reach billionaire status, reflected on how his priorities have shifted toward finding peace and balance rather than chasing luxury.
“Before, I wanted to show everyone what I had. Now, I just want to enjoy life, my kids, and my peace of mind,” he added.
The 40-year-old forward, widely considered one of the greatest footballers in history, continues to live a life of success both on and off the pitch — though even he can’t quite keep track of his vast garage.
