Geelong, Australia — The City of Greater Geelong is inviting applications for its Creative Commissions Grants Program, offering up to $20,000 per project to support large-scale, innovative works by established professional artists and creatives. The total funding pool for 2025 is $80,000.

The program seeks to inspire high-quality works that challenge traditional artistic boundaries, increase community engagement, and celebrate local stories.

Eligible projects must be delivered within the municipality and may include immersive installations, cross-industry collaborations, experimental works in unique spaces, technology-driven art using AI, VR, or AR, and storytelling projects that connect communities to local history and culture.

Funding may be used for venue hire, artist fees, materials, production costs, equipment, accessibility measures, and project documentation. Applicants must hold an ABN and be an incorporated not-for-profit, registered charity, business, or sole trader.

Applications close 8 September 2025.

For guidelines and to apply, visit the City of Greater Geelong website.
