A court sitting in Kaduna has postponed its ruling on an application seeking a stay of proceedings in an ongoing dispute involving a disputed estate.

The matter, which has attracted significant attention due to competing claims over ownership and administration of the property, was adjourned to allow the court consider legal arguments presented by both parties.

Counsel representing the applicants had requested the court to halt proceedings pending the outcome of related legal processes, arguing that it would ensure proper judicial consideration and prevent conflicting rulings.

Opposing counsel, however, urged the court to dismiss the application and allow the substantive case to proceed without delay.

The presiding judge announced that a date for ruling would be communicated to all parties after reviewing the submissions.
