COURT ADJOURNS SOWORE’S DEFAMATION CASE AGAINST TINUBU

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing his legal challenge following proceedings at the Federal High Court in Abuja involving a case he has described as the “Tinubu is a Criminal” suit.

According to Sowore, Monday’s hearing featured intense legal arguments before Justice M.G. Umar, who subsequently adjourned the matter until September 20, 2026, stating that he could not continue with the day’s proceedings.

Speaking to journalists after the court session, Sowore reviewed the issues raised during the hearing, the court’s decision to adjourn the matter, and what he believes are the implications for the case going forward.

He maintained that the legal process is far from over, insisting that his team remains determined to pursue the matter through the courts.

“The struggle for justice continues, and we remain committed to seeing this case through,” Sowore said.
