COMMISSIONER HAILS OYEBANJI’S PROGRESS IN EKITI
Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, Taiwo Olatunbosun, has praised Governor Biodun Oyebanji for what he described as significant progress driven by continuity in governance and people-oriented policies.
Olatunbosun said the administration has recorded notable achievements since assuming office in October 2022, emphasising its commitment to sustainable development and inclusive governance in Ekiti State.
According to him, the government has prioritised the completion of abandoned projects while initiating new infrastructure developments, including the rehabilitation of key road networks to improve transportation and boost economic activities.
He also highlighted progress in the agricultural sector, noting the reintroduction of extension services, provision of farm inputs, and youth-focused initiatives that have increased food production and created employment opportunities.
In healthcare, the commissioner said the administration has revitalised primary healthcare centres and introduced mobile health services to improve access, particularly in underserved communities.
Olatunbosun added that investments have been made in the education sector through school renovations, integration of digital learning technologies, and continuous training of teachers to enhance educational standards.
He further noted that youth empowerment and entrepreneurship programmes under the state’s economic agenda are driving innovation and increasing internally generated revenue.
The commissioner described Oyebanji’s leadership as inclusive and transparent, fostering a stable political environment and stronger collaboration among stakeholders, while calling for continued support to sustain development efforts across the state.
