CHELSEA PUSH FOR JOAO FELIX, HATO, XAVI SIMONS AS BARCELONA END SUMMER TRANSFERS
Chelsea in Hot Pursuit of Joao Felix, Hato, and Xavi Simons – While Barcelona Wrap Up Summer Signings
Chelsea are making big moves in the transfer market this summer, with three major targets in their sights — João Félix, Jorrel Hato, and Xavi Simons.
According to trusted football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are deep in talks with Ajax over defender Jorrel Hato and with RB Leipzig over midfielder Xavi Simons. Hato is reportedly on board with the move, having already agreed on personal terms, while talks for Xavi are at an advanced stage.
Chelsea are also keeping close tabs on João Félix, who is currently with Benfica. Talks are ongoing between the clubs, with his agent Jorge Mendes playing a key role in pushing the deal forward. Mendes has a strong relationship with both sides, and Félix is believed to be eager to join the Premier League side.
Meanwhile, over in Spain, Barcelona have closed their transfer book for the summer. Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, club president Joan Laporta confirmed that no further signings are expected this window. “We have a good squad,” he said, adding that the focus now is on promoting talented players from the reserve team.
As Chelsea ramp up their squad-building efforts, fans will be watching closely to see if these high-profile deals are sealed before the transfer window shuts.
